:Peggy, this is the right page, because it is the talk page of the actual content page we're discussing. The user talk page would be useful, for example, if I wanted to post you a message unrelated to a particular content page. Yes, this is the way to sign. :One nit: if the signature is <nowiki>~~~</nowiki>, the date is not printed. If the signature is <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>, the date is printed. I had not realized that - and my 10:55 message by mistakes lists only three tilde characters. Order of elements under a heading

Peggy, what do you think about the link order underneath the headings: Bicycling, Walking, Exercise, Gyms, Parks, Trails. What if we make that alphabetical? Bicycling, Exercise, Gyms, Parks, Trails, Walking? Same question for the boards and committees listed under 'Other Committees'. Andrei Radulescu-Banu (talk) 10:41, 21 June 2013 (EDT)

All comments on this page need to be signed with ~~~, which MediaWiki converts to a signature. Users can also edit the actual signature in their Preferences page. E.g. my signature in the Preferences page is: [[User:Andrei Radulescu-Banu |Andrei Radulescu-Banu ]] ([[User talk:Andrei Radulescu-Banu |talk]]) Also, a : can be used to create an indented subcomment. Andrei, not sure if I should answer you here or on my Talk page, this is a learning curve for me. Anyway, like the idea of alpha order for all things, makes good sense. Is this the way I sign? It worked on my own talk page. I have to do some homework on code. Peggyenders

Peggy, this is the right page, because it is the talk page of the actual content page we're discussing. The user talk page would be useful, for example, if I wanted to post you a message unrelated to a particular content page. Yes, this is the way to sign. You can also try to paste [[User:Peggyenders|Peggy Enders]] ([[User talk:Peggyenders|talk]]) into your signature textbox on your Preferences page - that way, the signature becomes 'Clickable'. One nit: if the signature is ~~~, the date is not printed. If the signature is ~~~~, the date is printed. I had not realized that - and my 10:55 message by mistake lists only three tilde characters. Andrei Radulescu-Banu (talk) 11:35, 21 June 2013 (EDT)
