OK< I'm in.

content

Andrei, I've fooled around a little with the In and Around section, but I have some thoughts about the architecture in terms of content additions. For instance, there's the flora and fauna section, which should naturally lead to connections with citizens for lexington conservation, the conservation stewards, the conservation department and commission, the new pamphlet on conservation lands. Not sure how you want to set this up. i've written to Emily Schadler, the conservation assistant for the town, to ask her opinion. There is alot of good content for a section that then overlaps with "outdoors...." so I guess repetition is ok. Why a section on flora and fauna all by itself -- why isn't it in with "outdoors"?

Peggy

Excellent ideas. Thanks for contacting Emily Schadler. If there is overlap, we can restructure content so that it is shared. I guess we can keep flora and fauna separate, or under 'outdoors'. I do not have strong feelings either way. The way I see it, this is a small Encyclopedia. Perhaps we should look at a Larousse or some other encyclopedia to see how the material on Flora and Fauna is organized there. Andrei Radulescu-Banu (talk) 13:00, 21 June 2013 (EDT)

Am I doing this right?

Andrei, do I reply to you on this Talk page? Peggyenders

Peggy, you can write to me on my own Talk page, or on the 'In And Around Lexington' talk page. In both places I get automated email notification of a comment. If I write on your talk page, only you get the email notification - so I may miss a new topic. Discussions about how to organize top level material are perhaps best listed in the 'In And Around Lexington' talk page. There is a top right menu where you can select 'Watch', or 'Unwatch', on any page - in particular, on the 'In And Around Lexington' page. That way you also get automated comments when I post there.
