2011-2012 School Bus Information

For your convenience, all necessary links to register for school bus transportation, as well as school bus information in general, are shown below. Bus Passes are scheduled to be mailed out a week or two prior to the opening of school, to students that are registered with balances paid in full.

Please note that there is a family cap of $1600.00

Bus Stop Change: If you have a concern about the location of a bus stop please complete the Bus Stop Change Request form and submit it to the Transportation Manager for review. For the safety and well being of all students, bus stop changes should not be made directly with the Bus Driver or with the Bus Company. Please use this form to communicate your concerns. The Transportation Manager will coordinate with the Bus Company, Police, DPW, or other school personnel necessary to make a determination regarding the bus stop. Please allow five to ten days for response or implementation of any change to our bus routes. .

Bus Routes are based on registrations, and may vary each school year depending on where students live and who registers. Should it be necessary, routes will be refined.

Inclement Weather: During inclement weather, our goal is to safely transport students to and from school. This may result in students arriving to school or home later than expected. The transportation providers do their very best to insure the safety of all on board.


Financial Assistance Program

Annual applications are available as of May 1. The application determines the waiver or reduction of student fees associated with the Lexington Public Schools for the upcoming school year.
