Two primary means of electronic communication are used for keeping members of the Lexington METCO community informed. In addition to this website, the METCO program uses an email list for timely delivery of announcements. To sign up for the list, please visit the METCO Mailing list page

New METCO Parents

Information for parents new to the Lexington METCO program is usually published in June.

METCO Parents Group

The mission of the Lexington METCO Parent's Group is to empower our children by modeling behavior; identifying and addressing issues of common concern involving education; and promoting and supporting a diverse community and relationships among the METCO community, thereby ensuring the continuation of the METCO Program.

Lexington METCO Parents meet together on a monthly basis as a K-12 parent group. Meetings are usually held on the first Monday of each month school is in session.

All meetings will be held at the Twelfth Baptist Church, 160 Warren Street, Roxbury, MA beginning at 6:30p.m. unless otherwise advertised.

All METCO Parent meetings are usually held on the first Monday of the month beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Twelfth Baptist Church, 160 Warren Street, Roxbury MA 02119.

We ask that parents arrive promptly so that meetings can start on time and end on time. Your participation in these meetings and seminars are vital to the growth and stability of the Lexington METCO Program. Upon acceptance into the Lexington METCO Program you committed to attending 6 of the 8 meetings of which 5 should be a seminar of your choosing. Please make every effort of fulfill your commitment.
